Brick cheese is an American cheese, originating from the state of Wisconsin. It is made from cow’s milk and so called due to both the production process and the form in which it is sold. The aging process creates a soft moldy rind which is entirely natural. We suggest removing the rind though before eating. This cheese should keep about two to three weeks in the refrigerator.

Brick cheese is high in fat, approx. 29g per 100g, so you really should avoid if on a low fat diet, otherwise look for low fat varieties.

Brick cheese is great for healthy teeth and helping to protect against osteoporosis. Other  Brick Cheese benefits are believed to include helping the prevention of heart disease.
