Calories in Cream,
Cream Nutrition Facts

How many calories in Cream? See below, the Cream calories for the different serving sizes. We provide you with Cream nutrition facts and the health benefits of Cream to help you lose weight and eat a healthy diet.

Cream is the butterfat or thicker creamy milk that separates and rises to the top of milk. This layer is removed from the milk prior to the milk going through the homogenization process.

There are many different types and thicknesses of cream that are available, each with a different fat content. Additionally a number of countries use varying terminology for the different types of cream. The calorie tables below focus on the US market, but are still a good guide if you are outside of the US.

Calories in cream are high as is the fat content. Therefore, as part of a weight loss diet, cream really should be avoided, there should be no reason to have it, unless it's a very occasional special treat.

In the nutrition table at the bottom of the page, we're showing half and half cream which is similar to single cream in the UK. It does provide a good source of calcium as you'd expect along with some other vitamins and minerals.
